Router goes offline

My router goes offline while dl'ing files after 2-3 minutes. If I close LW and reset the modem then it stay up but 2-3minutes after I start LW and start dl'ing it loses connection again.

I am using Windows Xp, a lynksys wireless router and am subscribed with Charter.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before?
