![]() Looks like port 6346 is being blocked. Probably due to your software firewall or more likely your router or ISP. New problem? What changes did you make before this happened? Was there a system or LW crash, or a system or firewall or LW update? First, try these suggestions: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html BTW I would recommend downgrading to an earlier version of LW: Try LW 4.16, 4.14 or last resort, LW 4.12; Download LimeWire, LimeWire 4.16.3 Download, ___ Download LimeWire, LimeWire 4.14 Download. LimeWire - 4.12. Remember if you are using AVG firewall, then disable your XP firewall. Also make sure you make an exception in the firewall for LW. You may need to do this for each version of LW (ie: delete each previous firewall rule for LW.) * Whatever you do, don't have LW on multiple computers using the same connection port thru the same router. Make sure each one is connecting via a different port. ie: Go to LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Firewalls, and change Connection & listening ports to something different to the other LW's or other programs that are using same port. A router will reserve a single port per program, per user, per computer on a network. So ... you can only use a single port in the router for a single program for a single user & program. All other users & programs & computers must use a different port. ![]() * Routers reserve a single port as described, for a single user account & also for a single program & also for a single computer. ![]() Other ports to use are ... good ones are between: 49152 - 65535 Last edited by Lord of the Rings; September 11th, 2008 at 05:10 PM. |
