It might be caused by a number of things. Such as a wireless router/modem being unreliable if you have too many incomplete files attempting to connect. In that scenario, Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! (click on blue link) which should at least help.
Also, try disabling OOB under Tools > Options > Speed. You could perhaps also disable all performance options under Tools > Options > Advanced > Performance. |
