Default Can't connect anymore... (need help removing LW)

I have had Limewire for years now, and never had a problem connecting. I was idle from Limewire for about a year, and when I tried to use it again, it did not allow me to connect. So I deleted it from my computer and redownloaded it again. Still it won't let me connect. Is there a special setting or tab I need to click in order for it to connect now? Also, when I was doing a computer search for "Limewire" so that I could delet all of it that way, it would not let me delete 2 applications of Limewire. I followed the path and still it would not let me delete, it said "access denied.Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use". I restarted my computer and still had the same message when trying to delete. So maybe I was not able to get all of limewire off my computer before re-downloading it? If so, how do I get it all off?

Make sure that LW's not still running...open Task Manager & if there's a LW process running, end the process.

Try the advice here for how to uninstall/reinstall: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/320995-post377.html

If you're still having connection problems after reinstalling, try the fixes in this thread: If LW Will Not Connect
If nothing there helps, post back with your system details.
