limewire wont connect or search help i am new at this!
 

i am connected but i have only one bar. when i do a search nothing comes up what am i doing wrong?

when i open limewire there is a firewall and it wont let me search or connect. How do i remove the firewall?

i love limewire but...
 

limewire is not working. added on my firewall exceptions. tried uninstalling/reinstallling. no good. the "simple test" link said it worked. 3rd party security doesn't have firewall. can't turn off windows firewall coz my brother will kill me. it woked with the firewall before really fast, why should it stop working now??? same ISP, same modem, browsing speed ok. just that limewire won't move at all. HELP.:bangh:

im having the same problem... worked b4 then i had some windows updates... now it wont go through the firewall :(

Did you people misread something? :rofl: Laziness will get you nowhere when it is specified in forum rules to supply these details in connection problem threads. ;) We cannot help you much without such details. :eek:

ok last week i was using limewire no problems...
then i downloaded some windows updates.
now i cant connect again!

It says i have a firewall tho ive turned them off....
but if i go to my firewall options and look at current programs working it says that limewire is sending and recieving...

Tried re-installing it. no luck
tried connecting manually. no luck

I have Windows XP and use virgin media security system.

HELP!

ok im on windows xp.... use virgin security
and it was working perfecty 2 days ago :(

oh and something else weird.... i just looged on the pc using my moms login... works on that 1! says theres no firewall and connects straightaway?!?
