I have tried uninstall, re-install with deletion of app data, have tried adding mew service for Lwire and introducing it as a rule - its all a bit weird please help

mr2man2006 October 12th, 2008 08:21 AM

I can get up to 3 green bars but no search results!

mr2man2006 October 12th, 2008 08:27 AM

Also tried everything in the stickies

wondering why October 12th, 2008 11:35 AM

All the bars need to be green...My first instinct says it's AOL that is causing this to happen as they are anti p2p and will throttle and/or block your connection...

But you could give Port Forwarding a try and see how you go as your modem/router has a Nat Firewall within....

These are your instructions....

Port Forwarding for the Netgear DG834G

Another suggestion is to close LW, install FrostWire & if it connects, then close it down, and redownload lime wire i had the same problem for weeks and i downloaded frostwire and it connected and then deleted frost wire and redownloaded lime wire and it works like a champ, good luck,Doug:xeri_ok1ani:
