LW won't connect; stuck @ "currently conn 2 the Network"
 

I am a long-time user of Limewire, and am running the latest version. I am behind a McAfee firewlall, but I have Limewire listed as an "allowed program", and am allowing both inbound and outbound access. I have never had this problem with LW b4, but now when I start it up, it just says it's currently connecting, and goes no further. Is there something else I need to change in my settings on McAfee, or on LImewire itself? In the Tools setting on Limewire, I have it set to access PnP so it can run from behind my firewall as it always did b4. This is driving me crazy, and I'm sur I'm not the only one!!!:yikes:

You're right. You're not the only one. I'm having connection problems also with the new limewire, but never before with the older versions. Maybe you also have to permit limewire past your McAfee antivirus firewall in addition to windows firewall? Someone, please help both of us!
