not connecting
 

hello I'm running win xp os had dial-up for isp lime wire worked ok but switch to verizon fios . now when i open lime wire and hit connect the connection bar does not move so please help

First of all, delete LW's preferences folder. See the thread below (click on link) for instructions. If you've deleted the prefs folder properly, you'll go through LW's setup wizard again when you restart LW.

If that doesn't fix things, delete or replace the gnutella.net file (instructions for that in the thread below as well). Otherwise, try the other fixes there.

If LW Will Not Connect
If nothing there helps, please post back with your system details.

did what you said all it said on the status bar trying to connect just the one bar lights up there is also three sign in windows . it did not work delete and replace the prefrence file and the gnutella . net

atomic no connect I have the same problem What the ****!!
 

hey buddy Miamio here and I tried everything I could to get the bar to turbo my connection and no go who can help us with limewire(we paid for this service to work if you upgraded to pro it should work without fail. Is limewire in trouble like napstar?

hey miamio i had dial-up and it worked fine then i went and upgrade to verizion fios and now no connect the only thing left to do is uninstall it then reinstall program any . ANY ONE OUT THERE USING VERIZION FIOS AND LIMEWIRE TO GET THEIR MUSIC LET ME KNOW HOW ITS WORKING FOR YOU THANKS AND GOOD LUCK:confused::mad2:
