I am tired of having to uninstall to re-installing Limewire simply to connect. I am sure there is a better program than LW. Why is it that the firewall *even if none* I cannot connect. But when I remove the program and reload it, then I can connect. Come back with the old version please...

It sounds like something is getting corrupted after each session..
You could try these tips within this thread and see if they help.... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html

Already did. None worked. The only way I found it to get working is if I leave LW idle for 20 minutes. Then the firewall symbol goes off. Don't know why but I just tested it several times with success! Thanks for the feedback but I already read all the threads before posting.
