when i run lw every thing goes ok till it starts to load the connection bar's go green then it goes to 4 then maybe two then back to 5 try to search for some thing it goes back to 4 or 3 bars i used to down load no probs. do any 1 know wot i sould try to do to fix it thanks.

wow your isp is either new or else, they've only just introduced their anti p2p approach. The latter by the looks of things. Your 'real' isp is CARPHONE WAREHOUSE BROADBAND SERVICES. See the two url links at bottom of this first post http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...-limewire.html

Thank you do you know how i can fix it i turned of my fire wall off then turned lw back on and it still showed a fire wall ?

Another thing is i dont have many programes on my lap top so a couple of weeks ago i had to reinstall mostly every thing i had no aol on it at the time i gained acess through IE and downloaded aol coz the other aol connection wouldnt let me sign on so i deleated the old aol so before i dowmloaded aol 9.0 vr i set up lw and got connected and down loaded rambo 4 no problem but after i put in the new aol things stopped really then any idea

AOL 'is' your problem. Check the links in my post above. You need an ISP (internet service provider) that does not shape or block p2p sharing bandwidth.

ie: AOL rents lines from other ISP's .. the rules of use may be a combination of AOL & the ISP they rent their lines through. Looks like your choice of ISP is the issue that is causing your connection problems.
