Limewire wont connect fully(windows vista)

My limewire opens up, but when it starts to connect it never gets past the first bar of the five...therefore i cant search anything! It used to work forever and then one day it just stopped. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the program and still cant figure it out! any suggestions?

this is a recent and recurring problem.... has become worse with 4.18..appears to be no rhyme or reason..... sometimes if you let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes connecting... it will eventually connect..

Deleting your LW preferences was a wise thing to do we found out if updating to LW 4.18.x :)

I had Limewire worked with no problems. Purchased Limewire Pro and now I can't connect, only gets to first bar. Tried uninstall, reinstall, restarting computer, same thing. HELP PLEASE. I have WIndows Vista

After upgrading to Pro, always wise to delete the previous LW preferences folder. :) LW must be closed at that time though. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html
