Will only show ethernet speed!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire twice now because whenever I have tried to seach for songs it only will show me the songs if they are with ethernet speed. I have looked at my settings and it says it is set to show all speeds so I am not sure what the problem is! I need help please!

Are you on a LAN at school or work?

Try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).

This will change all of your settings within LW's options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things to the way you like them.

I have been able to see other speeds before but for some reason it has just recently only brought up the songs available with ethernet. I am at college so I am not sure if i am on a LAN or not. I am currently using the 4.18.8 version of limewire and it is the only one I have ever used. And I am also not very familiar with the whole Limewire system so I'm not sure where to find the LW preferences folder.
