Default LimeWire Pro no longer works under a limited account

I have LimeWire Pro 4.14.8 installed on my home PC which is running XP Pro SP3. I'm using Comcast as my ISP and I'm also running ZAP along with a Linksys router firewall. When I run LimeWire through my admin account all works well. However LimeWire Pro will no longer connect under a limited account. I've been using LimeWire Pro through a limited account with no problems now for over a year till recently. Now it will no longer connect. Now I haven't upgraded to the latest version, can this causing the problem??? Thanks.

Could be a 'user account' issue. Remember each user account has its own LW preferences folder. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html & try out those methods for the other account.

I have no idea what SP3 did, but perhaps increasing security a little more like VISTA which almost requires Admin for everything. A copy-cat attempt at what Mac OSX does, however they (windows) are probably struggling with doing it properly & with ease of the user considered also.

Following the tips in this thread, http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html Deleting the gnutella.net file completely from that user account solved the problem.
