my limewire is not connecting to the network
 

Hi gnutella forum,
My name is Essence and im really new to this,but i have a really big problem.On my old computer i had limewire and it was working perfectly but then when i got this computer(Microsoft Windows XP)i tryed to download it and that was successful.Then when i had got on their it didnt have no connection, no green bars, no files shared.When i found out that i went to google and typed in"my limewire is not connecting to the network how do i fix it" they sent me here.Now the problem is i dont know how to download gnutella forums to my limewire to get hosts.Ive got windows firewall, norton security center, and my msn connection is not connected and i dont know how to connect it....if that helps, but if yall can help me with this problem please do i need my limewire!!!

I am having problems connecting too. The other day my limewire stopped connecting. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice and still nothing. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I'm having the same problem and nothing in the forum is helping

I have installed and unistalled several times Limewire; i even upgraded from the 4.18 version to the 5.0.11 version and the software comes up and when i search for a song...I get nothing. Can someone help me. I even downloaded lemonwire.com and it does the same thing. Help.

My computer is saying that i cannot connect and i have none of the bars are green my last limewire worked fine until i upgraded to limewire 5.1.3 and now im having problems plz help!

I have LW 4 and im having trouble connecting. i havnt had trouble since yesterday..and i have had LW for a few years. I tried the firewall thing and i cannot turn it off cuz i dont want viruses. can someone help me? also if u uninstall and reinstall it will i lose all my songs??

Check where your songs are located by going to the library, highlighting a song and pressing explore.

Limewire when uninstalled will remove one or two folders. The Limewire program folder and maybe the application data folder (can't remember). If your songs are in one of those, then they will be deleted, if not then no problem.

Hey guys I have the same problem... I have a new Mac platinum and when I click on the LM icon nothing happens... the program doesn't open...

I tried uninstalling and installing several times, I even downloaded a new version and still nothing happens... the strange thing is that LM works quite well on my PC with Windows XP.

I recently downloaded some apple software updates related to Safari, iPhoto and general subjects... would it be possible that one of these updates had blocked my Limewire???

If not... please help !!
