Connection Problem!! Urgency!!!!!
 

:bangh:Well been having problems. At first was with the uploading of others .. because of the Trend Micro Firewall.. and well I know that at least was having only all but few uploads but not like anyone was coming to get my files.. I have connection problem now... and only one bar and the firewall on the blue globe has never left.. no matter whether I have a firewall or not.. cause took out Trend Micro... tried Zone Alarm.. got rid of Zone Alarm..went back to reinstall Trend Micro.. and somehow the router well I am now to use of the net by direct cable connection.. until I figure again the connection I somehow lost in configuration to have LW work properly for me and everyone that connects with me.. So I am at a loss with words for tireless hours spent on connections to net ..LW and to make any sense of the all the suggestions that have either helped to some of the situation fpr brief moment to only hinder and give LW to non functional.. I hate to lose anything I have.. Please Help!!!

Since you don't seem to want to give your details on the forum...

Did you ever delete LW's preferences folder (as per my PM)? If not, try it.

If you do not go through LW's setup wizard after deleting the prefs folder - you haven't done it properly. In that case, try again & make sure that LW is closed before you delete.

Did you ever try port forwarding? I have no idea of what Linksys model you have, because you didn't tell me.

Did you remove all LW rules from your firewall & then add them again (as per my PM)?

I had sent details of what I have before when had upload problem...BTW the Linksys type model is BEFSR41.. a Wired/Wireless.. and since at the moment not running it..to stay connected with Roadrunner.. straight direct connection.. meanwhile was to get the blue globe firewall obstruction gone.. and the Trend Micro 2008 Internet Pro Security which hasn't given the go ahead in the rules to bring the wall down for LW..
And since the connection with router to ever configure it back in..when Broadband was set upit was right.. at least it was until using Trend Micro which I bought.
Now need to some how get the configuration back with the router... cause always did like that connection..tho maybe the direct way of just cable maybe just as good if not better..Maybe advice to what you might think.
I've been into ShowMy Connections in start up and tweaked to get the router and cable connection and with Trend Micro that with Command Prompt and ispconfig that well not so sure why the connection cannot be made..

Well had new install of LW vers. 4.1.8.8 or so the one had that was firewalled ... then the new install didn't have the Firewall in front of blue globe which is great news only the listening post was different then the manual port forward at standard 6346... is this normal or if one uses the exact same of listening port as I found out.. then the firewall came sending it through.. so I have uninstalled in add remove of LW.. to reinstall and hope fresh thru of LW gives me what I had just shortlived..
Now the problemI had noticed is the songs I got with LW before I have but not in my LW library... how to import them back so others can see and enjoy what I can?
