For the last several years I have had no problems connecting so I can perform a search. Last night the 5 bars would not turn green (none of them). Nothing I can think of changed on my PC. I'm running windows XP with plenty of memory. I tried to troubleshoot. I disconnected the firewall, no help. I uninstalled my version of Limewire 18 and downloaded it again. No difference. I then uninstalled limewire and installed an earlier version 16.3. No help. I have a second computer and Limewire works fine. That computer works wireless off of the router hooker up to the problem puter. I did a system restore to two weeks ago when I know all was well. No help. Anyone with some ideas please email me at ***
