can't connect
 

Getting no connection. Steps I have taken:
1. Turned off personal computers firewall (Vista 2007)
2. Allowed LimeWire on Norton's firewall
3. Uninstalled and installed Limewire and Java (two times)
4. Upgraded to latest version of Limewire (4.18.8)
It has always worked in the past and has just stopped in the last two days.
It will start to connect but never goes beyond the first
bar. Says "currently connecting to the net-work", but never fully
connects. Says a firewall has been detected (even when both were turned off).

You do not need limewire to connect to any of the networks with ShareAza. :)

Make sure you made an exception in your firewall to allow ShareAza full access. ;)

OK, Im an idiot on this stuff. Dont know what Shareaza is. May have posted in the wrong place because I couldnt figure it out. I have Vista 2007, have turned off XP firewall and have allowed limewire on nortons firewall. Have uninstalled and installed livewire and still nothing. Has been working and just stopped. Cant get past the first bar in connecting.
