When searching Im not getting anything
I have windows xp and yesterday when searching no matter what I searched for my result window was blank... today I upgraded to extended pro and I still have the same problem. What do I do?

How many green bars do you see at the bottom left hand corner of your LW?
If only one green bar, it means you are not connected. You cannot search if only one green bar.  If only one green bar, close LW & replace the Gnutella.net file; instructions here: If LW Will Not Connect (click on the blue link)
