Only 1 bar connection

Until yesterday I always had the best connection to LW. Now I have only 1 bar. I have a HP dual core celeron Windows XP Pro. I have 2 Gigs of ram. Plenty of disk space and a back up disk. My firewall is CA Security Suite. My connection is via a cable modem (Comcast). I have tried to run LW with the firewall off, spyware filter off, no better. I reside in Texas.

As I have stated before yesterday my connection, search, and download speeds were the best. Now I can not get past the "still connecting".

I have read the obligitory threads that are usually given. I see nothing that tells me how to correct my connection problem.

Mine is still saying only one connection bar and it's been like that for days... Any advice?

Try the fixes in the thread below. If nothing there helps, post back with your system details.
