LimeWire Administration PLEASE HELP (one green connection bar)
 

I reviewed the connection trouble page and did everything it said, and the bar still remains at one green. On all other user name on my computer limewire works, but not on my own. it was working 3 days ago, but has since stopped. the connections just say "connecting" then disappear. PLEASE help me out in fixing this problem.

system - WINDOWS VISTA
- not administration
- macafee firewall
- cable connection (Comcast)
- connection area: house

Make sure that you're not using the listening port as other users... you can check by going into LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall. You'll see LW's listening port there. Try changing listening port to 65000 (or others in the range of 49152 - 65535) > Apply > ok.

Which connection trouble page did you see? Have you tried the tips here (click on link)? If LW Will Not Connect
