stuck on starting connection for days

:welcomeani:i have windows vista an lw 4.18.8
comcast highspeed connection
it has been stuck on starting connection for 2 days now any ideas of what i can do to connect?:idea:

I'm having the same problem. I have Windows XP, Verizon FiOS - Uninstalled LW 4.16 - then installed LW 4.18. Cannot get any further than the first little green bar to connect. Have restarted until my face is blue. Disconnected and reconnected.
Can anyone help the big dummy here? :)

Update: Nevermind. Just went back to LW and found all my green bars decided to make an appearance! Yay!

Hi irdanger,

Have a look at this thread (click on link), there are lots of different fixes for connection problems: If LW Will Not Connect

Start off by deleting your gnutella.net file;) The file's found within LW's preferences folder - there's specific info for Vista users, to help locate the prefs folder.

Otherwise, go through the other fixes. If nothing there helps, post back with your system details (see for thread for more info about the details that we need):)
