Installing LW5Pro - not tech savy

OK. I'm new to this. Just uploaded LW 5 pro and can't get anything to work. Read as much as I can, understand little, so I have cut and pasted the important questions so I can provide as much information as possible about my system. Just can't get connected to the internet. If you can help, please keep it simple. I do not understand all of the LW vernacular ie: nutella, leaves, mozilla, mojito, etc...

Thanks for your help and patience.

1. OS version? Windows XP Pro
2. What firewalls you have? Windows. Have tried disabling. Have identified LW as an exception.
3. How much ram? 1G
4. Hard Disk space available? 200G (80%)
5. Connection type? Broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? SMC 8014 W-G
7. Where are you trying to connect from - home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? LW5Pro, Java 1.6.0_11
9. Who is your ISP - Rogers (Canada)
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: Test Worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers - sharing with other computers (1)
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. I had older version of LW but just upgraded to LW5Pro. (not an experienced user, not tech savy)
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? _ it says "you are behind a firewall and do not support firewall transfers"
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? got me on this one
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Norton 360
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country Canada
17. Has anything in your setup changed recently? Have you updated your version of LW or Java? Have you added any new software or new hardware? Have you updated any software? Have you moved house, changed internet plan or ISP etc etc? I am using a new ISP. (previously has Sympatico from Bell)

Sorry folks. Looks like not only have I provided incorrect information, I have probably posted in the wrong section. I have "downloaded" the new LW5 version, not uploaded. And it looks like this thread should be in the connections tab, not "download" tab. I would move this if I knew how.

Thanks and sorry.

Does the other computer have LW also? Which version & does it connect?

If the answer is yes there is another computer that uses LW, then go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Superreallyadvanced -> Firewalls. Check both the connection & listening ports of both LW's. Are either numbers the same? If yes, change the ones of the LW that does not connect. A port such as 64049 should be good to use. :)

You have Norton AntiVirus, does that include a firewall?
