LW don't offer live support for Pro. You can get email support by going to this link & entering the email address that you used to buy Pro & then clicking on the Get Support button: Lime Wire » LimeWire PRO Support Center

Rather than running without a firewall, it's better to configure your firewall to allow LW:) Don't run 2 software firewalls at once, they'll conflict with each other. So I'd turn off Vista's firewall & then configure McAfee's firewall to allow LW. Check the link below for more info.
Port Forwarding for the McAfee Security Center

I'm a bit confused with your answer to question 11:o... does 'no' mean that it's not a new problem with an experienced user (ie you've had this problem with older versions as well)?

Try deleting your gnutella.net file. This thread has info about that (plus other fixes to try) - there are 2 links for Vista users: If LW Will Not Connect

Otherwise, please try to find out the brand & model of your router. If you're connecting wirelessly then the router might be in another room;)

The gnutella.net file is within this folder - C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire(which is hidden by default), so you'll need to be showing hidden files & folder in order to see that file & delete it.

If you're showing as behind a firewall then you could try port forwarding. First of all, you'll need to set up a static IP address for your computer.
PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall

After you've done that, the instructions for port forwarding are here: Port Forwarding for the Linksys WCG200v2

LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within router setup must all be the same number;)
