Firewall Problems, using school internet

Hey my limewire has suddenly stopped working. I've checked my firewalls on my computer and they're fine but it still says i have a firewall block and im not sure what to do since i'm in residence at school and using their internet.

College of Applied arts? Yep .. must be due to what you're studying is at fault! lol :D
Are you aware of anyone else with same problems? Schools are mostly shaping or blocking p2p sharing nowadays because p2p sharing uses so much bandwidth which costs them a heap of money.

i have no idea about anyone else having limewire problems but around the same time our dc++ was having difficulties too. so is there no way to fix the connection problem?

Try different listening or connection ports or both. To find the settings, see Manual port forward instructions & sample image, though that's usually used for setting up one part of port forwarding.

Yes DC is a great program. I haven't used it in a few of years now.
