Who is your ISP? Some ISPs have a fair access/fair useage policy & may throttle or even block p2p during their peak hours.

Try changing LW's listening port. Tools > options > advanced > super really advanced > firewall. Change LW's listening port to 65000 (or something in the range of 49152 - 65535) > ok. If you have port forwarding set up for a router then you'll need to add that same port number into the 'manual port forward' box > ok. And also change the port number forwarded within your router setup:)

If that doesn't help then please tell us your system details: System details - help us to help you -> Provide these details when you post!!!

Tiscali is reknown as a shaper of bandwidth for p2p sharing. Tiscali spread their wings & flew all over europe, now taking over much of UK's ISP's who despite retaining their original isp name, now use similar policies to Tiscali. But the parent company is Tiscali. So disappointing to see what's happened over in UK with multinational companies like Tiscali. It's all about money with them of course. It would cost them too much to expand peak period bandwidth capabilities of the ISP's, their equipment & lines. Their first priority is selling their bandwidth to businesses. I wonder what % of the company's income remains in UK.

Im so pi**ed off now when you mentioned tiscali i thought i was in the clear looks like what you say is true. The broadband is meant to be 8mb i rarely it clear 3mb now i know why, bloody tiscali.
