Default Widecap and Limewire

Seems that if i have widecap installed, (fresh installation, nothing set yet), limewire will get a "java.lang.Error: java.net.SocketException: Resource temporarily unavailable: getsockname " error

anyone know how to fix this issue?

I would try and reinstall java and see if that sets things right

Thanks for replying. At first i thought that was the problem as i am not very computer savvy. So when i saw the words java.lang.error i thought oh, maybe my java wasnt updated, but after ferverant reinstalls of limewire and java, it seems its no go. Also fully reinstalled widecap, and did ccleaner for any remnant registry keys that might be left behind. =(

does LW return to working if you remove widecap from your system?

and is it a legitimate version of widecap, or is it warez?

it seems to me you have at least 2 obvious options then...

stop using widecap

or stop using LW and try another gnutella client like Phex and see if it works with widecap
