Limewire 5.4.6 cant connect Bitdefender v9
 

I just upgraded from v4.0 limewire pro to limewire 5.4.6 pro. I am having trouble connecting.. I have WIN XP PRO firewall OFF and i have also allowed everything in my bit defender v9. I also restarted my pc. Whats up with this new limewire? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

I just installed limewire pro 5.4.6 It is supposed to stay connected to internet and have faster download speed. Sometimes it will connect and stay for a little while then it disconnects. Right now my limewire has been opened for an hour and i still have no connection. I would like to know what this means because sometimes it will connect and then sometimes it doesn't. Let me know what you find out about this. I'm going crazy because of its inconsistency.:shoot:

I had to add/open 3 different ports and turn off bitdefender firewall for lime wire to finally work.

Limewire is a wack program. It doesn't live up to its expectation.
