If your pirate edition isnt working.
 

My pirate edition on the mac wouldn't connect. Applying the fix, and delete gnutella.net did nothing. I copied over the frostwires gnuetlla.net to the limewires folder and boom it worked.

So a little fix for those who do not know.

Thanks desroyer. :) :idea: Sounds like the mac fix needed to be updated. Have just done that & this installer-Fix should be better than the previous installer-Fix anyway. ;) But 'great idea' to use the FW gnutella.net file. :) Sometimes one works for some people, sometimes other gnutella.net files work.

i cant get my lw to connect. it always shows a no internet connection. How do i get it to connect

Lord Of The Ring should have updated his fix. What i would do is download frostwire and copy their gnutella.net into limewires folder. As stated in the first post. Should work on both windows and mac.:cool:

If failing the advice of the advice above. LimeWire Pirate Edition works best when it's a clean install. ie: delete the previous LW preferences folder (but make a backup of the downloads.dat file first.) Let's hope some FrostWire users stick to version 4 & do not update to the upcoming FW 5 version which will no longer use gnutella network but only torrents. I had my party on what I thought about that in a recent post, I'd best not advance on that. lol :D
