Limewire läuft nicht unter Vista trotz JRE 6

Hallo,
Habe Vista, Adminrechte, Limewire 3.51 und neueste Java-Applikationen. Beim Austarten von Limewire erscheint die Fehlermeldung, (Sorry, Limewire could not locate a suitable runtime environment...) also dass keine aktuelle Java-Umgebung verfügbar ist, was nicht stimmt. Woran liegt das? Habe schon Limewire deinstalliert, neu gestartet und dann installiert, gleiches Ergebnis. Ist zwingend die neueste Limewire-Version notwendig? Danke für einen Tipp.
