They set a deadline for 12th march, which is next tuesday.

If we want to participate, we should fill in the appliance sheet right now.

Phex is one of the first Gnutella programs to appear, and it is still running strong, so I think we should have a chance to get in - and one or two student developers who tackle one of our bigger items over the summer would be great, I think.

I currently don't really have much time to work on this.. sorry...
I don't even know if I have enough time to mentor.. but I'll try.

The student template should check some basic student infos. Like name, where from, languages knowledge, experience in other open source projects, general programing knowledge, java knowledge, network protocol knowledge, Linux/Mac knowledge.

Not that this is all required but it would help classify and select students. We have only room for max one student..

I think the ideas would need to be more specific. It should be 2-3 larger topics to choose from.. What I'm missing is UDP, thats likely my favorite together with F2F and I2P. Maybe private networks...
