Spyware, webbugs and echelon !
 

Does LimeWire includes spyware and webbugs like f.e KaZaA.
Are there different versions of LimeWire to protect ourself against a spy that uploads our personally data from our PPC ???

The free version of LimeWire does contain advertising. There are various debates about to what extent this is spyware.

The PRO version of LimeWire ($9.50) does not contain any adverts or spyware or malware of any kind.

LimeWire is opensource. You may download the source code yourself and compile it without the advertising included (others have already done this - you may find a version around somewhere).
