incomplete file won't die when killed
 
i started downloading a file several days ago and it is incomplete. i have hit the kill download button repeatedly, but when i sign back in it returns!! i cannot get it to go away, nor can i download anything else while it remains.
help?

Hello!

It is strange that you are not able to download anything else just because that file is beeing attempted to be downloaded.But this is one possible cause and that is that it is possible that you in LW preferences have set LW just to allow you to download a single file at a time to change this do the following:
Go to:
Tools>Options>Downloads

Here you can set the maximum number of files that you can attempt to download at a single time change the number from 1 to somewhere between 4-8 depending on your connection speed.

Also when you are there changing the preferences you can also under the follwing path:

Tools>Options>Saving

Here you can change the number of days that incomplete downloads are beeing stored and saved the default value is 7 days change this to just 1 day or if you preferr 0 days.
