Finding Downloads in LIBRARY
 

I jsut downloaded limewire and ive gotten like 4 songs and i cant find them ne where! on the library tab it only has an "incomplete" tab and i cant find "completed songs" or "downloads" anywhere!! PLEASE HELP! email me at **EDIT EMAIL ADDRESS** if u can off any help! thanks!

I am having the same problem. My songs are in my c: drive under the shared folder, but they are not in the actual library in Limewire. I have a shared folder that I created, but I can't figure out how to get my songs to show up in it.

I am also having this problem. PLEASE HELP!!! I would really like my songs to be in the actual Limewire library where I can see them. Right now, I have to go into the C: drive to see them...

There appears to be a bug in the current version of LimeWire - it doesn't automatically connect the shared folder...

Go to

Tools|Options|Sharing and add your share directory to the list.

The default location of the share directory under windows is:

Program Files\LimeWire\Shared

alright-i did like you said, tools, add, shared folder...i found teh shared folder but when i went through c drive to program file to limewire to share i found the folder, but it was empty and wont let me click "select" HOWEVER when i did it on my desktop, like not through lime wire, i fouind it and i have all the songs ive downloaded, but there's no way to get those songs to the lime wire program to create a shared folder....is tehre? pleeeeeeease help

I have the same problem. I have the share folder and it is all correct under the tools menu. I also have the songs in my share folder when you look from the computer. My songs are just not showing up in my actual limewire library, even though I have a shared folder. Can I get the songs that I have already downloaded moved to the shared folder that I created in Limewire? Right now my songs are in Musicmatch Jutebox.

Check under Tools|Options|Saving

What is the directory listed in there? If no directory is listed then navigate to your shared directory and include it.

If your shared directory is included in both ...Saving and ...Sharing - then try hitting the refresh button with your shared directory selected under the Library tab.

If this doesn't work - then I'm at a loss (I've had no problem here - but I don't use the default share locations for LimeWire - I point to alternate locations during the installation).

You can set any directory (and any number of directories) to be shared. You shouldn't need to move your files - you just point LimeWire at the directory you want to share (Tools|Options|Shared).

well i give up now, i tried all i could but am not able to get it-i changed my default shared folder to incomplete lol just so id have at least some music to listen to-but now im just going to uninstall and reinstall and hopefully itll work-thanks for your help though

That worked for me. I was able to get all of my songs to show up in the shared folder in Limewire. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! : )
