MP3 files went poof!
 

All of a sudden, none of my MP3 files I download are appearing as MP3s. I get an error message that the files are unrecognized by any application. I had no problems downloading until today. I've installed Limewire Pro, I can play video files, but all I see when I open my shared files are these blank files for my MP3s.

Anyone know what happened and how I can fix it? Before today they all downloaded just fine and were playable in QT, now they just take up space on my harddrive.

Does the anti-virus thing work for MACs?

:confused: Figures: So I downloaded MacAmp and now the files play, also found a freebee virus thing for Macs and ran that (yeah none!). I'm just perplexed, all of a sudden Quicktime doesn't run the MP3s I download, but MacAmp does? Am happy things work, but think limewire is schizo.
