![]() ok, what do you think of making something for files not worth downloading and for letting people not to download on uploading which is not worth it. Which means CORRUPTED FILES. On my files that work I post the following on the name of the file: -works -cracklepopbleh (corrupted files) When I post cracklepopbleh dont bother downloading.. Hello people.. wakeup PS. Anyone else have ideas? |

![]() That's also what I used to do. The problem is, when Limewire does the group/smart/swarm downloads thing, your "hint" won't be seen. Your file will often be downloaded as part of this swarm and they'll never know. Perhaps taking the archive file, unarchiving it, add a small .txt file that basically says "This file is corrupt". Add that .txt file to the contents and then rearchive it. Hopefully you'll get a file that'll be slightly larger than the original, so that LimeWire won't "group" it with similar copies. Then your "hint" will be seen. Hope this helps..... |

![]() I fail to see the purpose in leaving a corrupt file, no matter what it is named, available for upload.... it just perpetuates the problem... that is unless there is some secret group that collects corrupt files. |
