more downloads at once
 

when i booted up my new machine i got an automatic update and now seem to only be able to download 3 songs at once as opposed to the previous 8.how can i change this?

Please specify some more details about your problem. You updated LimeWire? Which version did you have before, and which do you have now?

i'm not sure.it should be the newest version.before any selections were queued i used to be able to be downloading eight songs at once.now i can only be gettin 3 and the 4th gets queued.

Try the latest beta release. Swarming capabilities have been improved in this version.

Also, make sure that your bandwidth settings are correct.

Under Tools / Options / Downloads there is a setting for maximum downloads... I believe a default value is plugged in there based upon your connection type. You can change the maximum number of downloads but be sure to keep it reasonable.
