I just picked this up from another thread where a Limewire Dev person was discussing a way to turn off uploads.. Quote: Quoted from Joakim Agren Thread referenced

| Since you have the option of setting max and min uploads allowed as well as upload bandwidth it would appear to be a non-direct method of shutting off uploads... your library could be searched but nothing could be transferred. |
