download 0% ???
 

Hi, my only prob is when I download anyfin it geos in the downloading window whihc is fine but on the Status of the download they jus seam 2 stick @ 0% all the time & dosnt do anyfin and a waiting number keeps on rotaion?? err any ideas??

Do this happen all the time or just sometimes?.

I have noticed this issue to and sometimes I will be connected to a host but the progress bar only shows 0% and the download speed stays at 0.0kB/sec.

But since the status actually show you that you are actually connected to that host it means that you most of the time you will actually will get the file.Once I waited about 4 hours before the progress bar started moving and the download speed increased to 0.7kB/sec and then just kept increasing and I eventually got the file.

So you have to be very patient!

I think that this phenomena is related to the fact that some users have allowed to many upload slots in relation to their bandwith so that some of the users connected to that host will be getting extremly slow speeds that are undetectable by LW.Another potential issue has to do with Windows XP and LW 2.4.4.I have also seen some users complaining about that as soon as they reduce the upload bandwith from anything less then 100% they will receive no uploads for some strange reasons so this might be a potential bug with LW.It might also be other buggy clients out there that hurt the network and cause this.

But this issue should not be a big problem and it is not normal if it happens to you on every download attempt.For me it usually only happens about once every 15'th download attempt.
