![]() I have Netgear RT314 gateway router and it is causing 90% of my requested downloads to say: "requery sent waiting for reply". I disconnected the router and all looks good on first tests. How do I configure the router to pass the requests properly? |

![]() log in as admin to your netgear, go to advanced config > ports, and reroute the ports needed for limewire to the ip you're on. even with dhcp, you are usually assigned the same ip all the time, cos the router tries to reassign the same ips to the same mac-addies. SO: check your ip on your puter, and then reroute the ports. that should do the trick. ;-) |

![]() I have found through tech support from Net Gear that you can set the router up in the DMZ mode to make the router transparent to the internet by going to port forwarding and the default port #1 and change it from 0.0.0.0 to the address of your machine. (192.168.0.2 or whatever it is). |
