requery....AAAAAAAAA
 

nearly every song I try to download sits in requery as well. what causes this and what do you mean by "try re-searching" during requery?? I am ready to try anything.

Well the answer may be trying another client... my favorite is Shareaza loads more features, it is Free and has no Ads or spyware... and oh yeah... it works. Don't get me wrong I own Limewire Pro... it used to be my favorite but stuff like you are commenting on drove me to experiment with several others... Shareaza is the best in teh Gnutella world IMO.

On your concerns... regarding requery... it is not really a Limewire thing it is just Limewires method of responding when the file/user requested is not available or online. It is looking for an exact match of the file you wanted. If you wait long enough several 'requeried' files will actually download although it might be many hours.

if i do download shareaza, can i get my limewire files and my new shareaza files all in one place?? or do i have to go back and forth between the two? how do i transfer music files to different places? for instance out of my windows media player into my limewire or shareaza folder so they can be shared.

Yep... just point Shareaza to the limewire shared directory and you are in business... you can do that in the setup of Shareaza... you can define your shared folders as well as point your incomplete and completed downloads to the same directory as Limewire.
