No Longer Downloading I have a list of Music files I am downloading. I went to bed and left it finish. Now, this morning many completed downloading but some didn't start and two are half fininshed. I thought that some of these downloads were no longer available so I did a fresh search for new files and selected these for download. These have been requerying for over an hour now but none have started to download. I also opened another explorer window and was able to go to various web sites so my internet connection is OK (I have Cable Connection) Note: When I got up this morning my screen saver had switched on. Could this have caused a problem? |
Well the requery thing isnt very good. If u are gonna download many files when u leave ure pc on at night set up about 8+ files downloading simulatenous cause once that user who you are receiving the file goes offline u aint gonna get anyone else to download it from. The requery only requeries the ips of people already found it when u was searching so if theyve gone chances are ure gonna have to research the file name for a different user with it. Unfortunately Limewire doesnt re-search in the way u can manually. So before u goto bed get many files downloading at the same time and u should get around half of them complete and the rest just below 50% or even 0% if no user was found. |
