download List Disappears after crash or freeze
 

I have been having terrible problems with LM Pro 2.5.5. It constantly freezes my system (Mac G4), and when I restart, all my list for downloads are gone. Just now I devoted about 6 hours going through songs and having them in my download list, but when it froze, low and behold they ALL disappeared from the list. Isn't there any better way you can manage the list? A feauture that SAVES IN MEMORY each item in the download list would be helpfull. Please e-mail me if I am doing something wrong since this is incredily frustrating.

I'm assuming you're using OS9.x

This crash is often caused by Fax extensions.

1. Open Apple menu>Control Panels>Extensions Manager

2. Click on the 'Packet' column

3. Find the five FAXstf 6.0.6 - E [in OS9.2.2] extensions and deactivate them.

4. Click on Restart.


You may be able to restart downloads in Limewire if you still have the incomplete files. Simply search for the file and select to download it. If it's exactly the same version and size as what you started to download, it may often resume from where it left off.
