download goes to 100% and stalls
 

I wonder what happens when a download goes to 100% but is still not complete (this is on a mac.) What does this mean and what is the recommended course of action? Perhaps the download has stalled and it is best to quit limewire because it is confused?

LimeWire will sort itself out in time.

I think LimeWire now does some post processing on a downloaded file. This may or may not include:

1. Downloading a little extra from the host in order to check for corruption - it deliberately downloads some bits which have already been downloaded.

2. Hashing the file.

3. Something(s) else.
