Anyone!!please Help Me Download Limewire!!!!!!
 

Ok, I'm getting a little pissed.. I am using Windows Me, when I downloaded limewire, from it's site, it appears to download ok, the file goes to my documents, and then when i try to run it to install, it pops up a message (for like 1/2 of a second) saying extracting self extractor install anywhere..and that's it, after I click on the icon a couple times, a message comes up saying that I don't have enough memory.. I have enough memory to download it 500 times!!! Someone please give me some feedback, I really want to use Limewire!! ~Lexie

more than likley, u have run out of memory because you ahve to many copies of the file open.
my experience in me is minimal but i still think the old 3 finger salute works so get that error to come up and hit ctrl+alt+del
if you see several of the exact same entries in the list that is why youre out of memory

btw when computers say memory they dont mean hard drive space they mean ram

if im not mistaken i dont think limewire supports ME yet so u may be out of luck till teh next version but we are all hoping that is soon :)

Limewire runs perfectly on winME,
But I had problems installing 1.4b, as wel as other little bugs in other programmes.
Did a winME reinstall last weekend and all problems are gone, so if your winME is running for about a year like mine was, reinstalling might do the trick......

i'm having difficulty with downloading lw as well...
 

i really could use help here. i try to download limewire for windows ME, using a cable modem, but it will not work, as i receive an error page or a broken quicktime symbol. please help me out. thanx.

THANKS!!to the person who replied to me and told me to check ctrl,alt,dlt ...you were exactley right!!! i got it working now!! thanks again for your help!!:D
