Vanishing Files

This is getting annoying.

I download a file. It downloads to 100%. Then it says "The file is corrupted" and gives me a choice to continue or not. No mater what I select, the file does not go into my downloads directory.

This happens with multiple files on multiple hosts, for the better percentage of my downloads. I know the files aren't corrupted, at least I am pretty sure they aren't, because I download them again and again and they fail in the same manner, but occasionally one will work and the file is proper, no warning and no error. This is with the same file of the same host that would usually give an error.

I look in my inproc directory, nothing. I look in my Incomplete directory, nothing. What does LimeWire do with these files? Why doesn't it honor my request to ignore the problem? Is there any option to suppress validity checking? Or perhaps to manually break a download off at 99% and then pop it from my Incomplete folder? Where do files awaiting my decision to chuck them or keep them reside?

A long shot but I suggest you search in Windows for the filename. They may be there somewhere. It is possible Limewire is directing the files to another location.

If the file has not been put in the downloads directory, it is probably still in the Incomplete directory. Files in the Incomplete folder have a T-2934872309- (or something like that) prefix on the front, so maybe you are missing the file because the filename is not what you expect?
