REQUERY/ no downloads
 

let me just start off by saying that i love limewire.....when it works.

i had not been downloading for about 2 weeks and yesterday connected and downloaded 2.6.5. i was excited and hesitant at the same time, because of problems that were eventually solved with the last upgrade.

i started to download and i was amazed with the results. solid connections and very fast downloads. after about 30 minutes it all came to an end.

now after connecting and re-connecting several times over the last 24 hours, i get only requery-sent on anything i try to download, and for the fist time after about 150 tried downloads i get one connection at a speed of 1.0 to .05kb. i have a DSL connection and have tried every type of host to establish a solid download.

what is the problem and why did it work for the first 30 minutes then stop??
i have read thread after thread in this forum and there really is nothing to solve this problem. (thus the new one)

please help so i can continue my happy relationship with limewire.
if this gets fixed i will continue paying for future upgrades and refering it to friends.

Limewire is a great product. These types of problems are not caused by limewire--they are however a condition of using an network that is dynamic--by this I mean constantly changing. So, it is highly likely that your peers or the machines you were able to download from disconnected from the network or are out of your search horizon.
