why so many corrupting files?

I just installed and tried to download about 6 songs. I encountered about 6 corrupting files. One song I downloaded from a group of 80+ source and it was corrupted. Does that mean all 80+ ppl are having corrupted files or there's a problem on my side and I'm the one corrupting file?
