Red face limewire downloads

hi, i am a new limewire user and i have a few questions that i hope someone can answer for me.
1. i have a 56k modem and i want to know which files will download on my system quicker- the modem files, the cable files, the t1 files, or the t3 files.
2. another thing that i want to know is that if i am unable to complete my downloads in the event of my computer freezing or anything like that is their a way that i could remove the incomplete files from my library and resume downloadding at a later time or am i screwed?
3. my last question is why do some files stop downloading either at the halfway mark or near the end of my downlaods, this really annoys me when that happens. can u refer me to other free music download sites like limewire?

thanks alot i really appreciate it.

You can only d/load as fast as your connection will allow. Being on dialup, the best you can hope for is 5-6 KB/s. They'll all be able to max out you d/load bandwidth. Even the other modem users cause you'll probably be connected to more that one.

SO it doesn't matter, they'll all deliver the same speed. You'll have to upgrade to dsl or cable if you want faster d/load speeds.

This post has tips for setting up LW with a dial-up connection: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...tml#post175733
