limewire unable to find license continue to download

i am using the current version of limewire and after i search files and find the song i want to download, i get a message that says limewire is unable to find a license for this file, download the file anyway? i say yes but when i place file on my mp3 player the file will not play. does anyone know about this and what i need to do to fix this? help?
