Audio Problems on CDBurns Looking for help on why my music files playback fine from the computer, but when I try to burn a CD the audio is totally scratchy and distorted. I have a dsl connection, I'm downloading MP3s, and I have a brand new PC with plenty of power and RAM and running Windows XP. Is it because I'm downloading MP3s and I should be downloading some other kind of file format? Help - I'm wasting alot of CD-Rs trying to record! Thanks! |

Good advice from Bobomon. You may also notice CD's are available in several versions. I usually buy the highest speed available and record at a speed somewhat under the "claimed" capability. Some of the better burners will automatically recommend or default to a slower speed. Norm |
